Be Mine

Image: Suzie  (Anne Felton)

It's time for another challenge at The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday.    Our theme is always "anything goes" but for an extra opportunity to win.... the twist is hearts or a valentine.
Our wonderful sponsor for this week is Anne Felton -  one of our own design team members.
Anne's images are gorgeous!

This is a card I created using Anne's image called Suzie.
Don't you just love her lithe face?

This is a close up of the skin tones I  used:
E50, E00, E11 and R20

I used a fun background with Goosebumps.   I applied Tim Holtz vintage Photo and Antique Linen.
I think this made a great resist!

I layered my card, added some prima flowers and hand quilled a heart.
I love quilling!!!
The bow with the final embellishment.

I am entering this card in the following wonderful challenges:
The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday -  Valentine or Hearts
Make It Monday - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon!   :D

Hugs, Marie

  8. I'm sure you made Anne proud with this fantastic coloring and design! I love how you did the background. I often end up fussy cutting images as I have no idea how to make pretty backgrounds, but I'm gathering inspiration from seeing your beautiful cards:)
