Heartfelt Creations - Monkey Antics Shaker Card







Today is inspiration Wednesday at Heartfelt Creations.    The stamps for this month are so cute and so much fun to use.    Here is a fun shaker card  I created using the Monkeying Around Collection!

Heavy white card stock, green card stock, X-Press It Blending Card Stock, Copic Markers: E40, E41, E43, E44, E47,  E49, E30, E33, E35, E37, E39,  R20, R22,  G40, G45, G28, 70% alcohol, terrycloth towels, Shaker card window,




Cut heavy white card stock to measure 11 inches x 4 1/4 inches and score and fold at 5 1/2 inches.  Cut green card stock to measure 5 1/4 inches x 4 inches.   Select designer paper from the Monkeying Around paper Collection and cut to measure 5 x 3 3/4 inches.  Adhere layers as shown in picture.

Stamp  the monkey face and the  tropical tree with coconuts on X-Press it or any Copic compatible paper.  Using Copic markers, color the money face with E40, E41, E44, E47, E49, R20 and R22.   Allow to dry and texture the image using 70% alcohol on a scrap of terry cloth.    Color the tree and coconuts with E30, E33, E35, E37 and E9.  Color the leaves of the tree with G40, G45, G29.

  1. Love that shaker cards have made a come-back. When I made my first one (over 10 years ago), I thought that I was the queen of card creations. You card is so adorable and as always, so well coloured.
